After around two years of construction, the new entrance hall of Goldau Zoo and the Goldau Landslide Museum were officially opened on 11 January 2024. Around 150 invited guests from politics, business and society took part in this great day for Goldau Nature and Animal Park.

The Kühne Foundation supported the realisation of the new landslide museum with a generous donation. What began in 1956 in an old military barrack now shines in new splendour as the Goldau Rockslide Experience Hall - integrated into the new entrance area of the animal park. The Goldau Landslide Experience Hall impressively presents the dramatic history of the dramatic natural disaster of 1806. The highlight of the exhibition is a video installation that brings the three-minute landslide to life in real time.
