Kühne Institute for Logistics Management at WHU
WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management is a privately financed business school with an international focus and university status. It is one of Europe's most renowned business schools, and enjoys an exceptional international reputation. In October 2012, WHU opened its second campus in Düsseldorf.
The Kühne Foundation supports logistics as an academic subject at the WHU for more than 25 years. Today, the Kühne Institute for Logistics Management is led by Professors Dr. Stefan Spinler and Dr. Carl Markus Wallenberg. The Kühne Institute teaches more than 250 bachelor and 100 master students, 120 full- and part-time MBA an 50 Executice MBA students.
The Institute's research particularly focuses on Big Data applications in logistics, sustainability and risk management in supply chains and logistics networks, humanitarian logistics, e-commerce, innovation management in logistics, management of logistics companies and logistics outsourcing.
