Personalized medicine. Integrating care, research and education.

At the Davos Medicine Campus, the Kühne Foundation brings together research, patient care and continuing professional development to advance personalized prevention and treatment. The focus is on allergies and cardiovascular diseases, with the aim of improving the quality of life for those affected and translating medical innovation into clinical practice.

The Kühne Foundation has been active in Davos since 2009. CK-CARE was established as an international research and training network in the field of allergies. In 2014, the Foundation took over the Davos Wolfgang High-Altitude Clinic, which is now a leading rehabilitation clinic specializing in cardiology, pulmonology, dermatology and allergology.

Davos BioSciences, established in 2019, is a platform that works with industry to translate research findings into concrete therapeutic approaches. Since 2020, Cardio-CARE has been driving forward an international research program focused on the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

Today, more than 600 staff members work together on an interdisciplinary basis under the umbrella of the Davos Medicine Campus. Their shared commitment is to translational medicine, which closely links research, clinical practice and the training of specialists, operates on an evidence-based approach and focuses on common diseases.

The Davos Medicine Campus combines cutting-edge research, patient care and the training of healthcare professionals. As an umbrella organization, it provides the infrastructural and organizational framework for sustainable healthcare solutions with international scalability.
