Olivia Lamenya, Advisor at the Kuehne Climate Center, honored with inaugural Cheetah Award for Agility at Kenya Power E-Mobility Conference

We are delighted to announce that Olivia Lamenya was honored with the Cheetah Award for Agility at the Kenya Power 3rd Annual E-Mobility Stakeholders Conference and Expo, held on May 6th, 2025, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.

This prestigious recognition acknowledges Olivia’s outstanding leadership and impact in advancing Kenya’s electric mobility transition. As a co-founder of the Electric Mobility Association of Kenya (EMAK), she has played a pivotal role in growing EMAK into a central platform that brings together manufacturers, energy providers, financiers, civil society, and government bodies. Her efforts have helped accelerate coordination and collaboration in Kenya’s evolving EV ecosystem.

The Cheetah Award for Agility celebrates individuals demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and innovation in driving sustainable mobility solutions. Olivia’s recognition is not only a personal milestone but a reflection of the shared vision and collective momentum toward a greener, smarter transport future in the region.
