At the end of 2019, HELP Logistics signaled again its commitment to strengthening humanitarian logistics and supply chain management through the opening of its 4th regional office in Dakar, Senegal. The office will serve the West Africa region through well-established training, education and consulting services provided in French. HELP is currently building strategic partnerships in the region to create a strong network of humanitarian, academic and commercial supply chain organisations and personnel. The activities will culminate in the 8th Africa Logistics Conference (ALC) to be held in November 2020 in Dakar. The goal is to raise awareness and elevate the importance of supply chain and logistics in West Africa. The Ambassador of Switzerland to Senegal, Mrs. Dr. Marion Weichelt, and the Ambassador of Germany to Senegal, Mr. Stephan Röken, visited the newly opened office on 14 January 2020.
