HELP Logistics delivers the Medical Logistics in Pandemics (MLP) virtual training to supply chain faculty and students at the Trisakti Institute of Transport and Logistics.
The training, which was developed to support the global COVID-19 response efforts, equips participants with the most up-to-date, essential logistics and supply chain knowledge in the context of medical operations, with a focus on vaccination campaigns and cold chain management.
The course, which was attended by over a 100 participants, is an extension of HELP Logistics’ efforts to support humanitarian supply chain knowledge in collaboration with Indonesian education partners.
In the words of university faculty: “The Medical Logistics in Pandemics (MLP) training helped our faculty and students understand how logistics plays a vital role, not only in the commercial world, but also in assisting beneficiaries in humanitarian settings through the delivery of critical medical supplies. When resources are limited, preparedness and planning in medical logistics can save many lives. ITL Trisakti university is developing a Humanitarian logistics course, and the MLP training has opened up a medical logistics perspective and helped us understand its importance and impact on the ongoing COVID pandemic in Indonesia. We sincerely thank HELP Logistics and Kuehne Foundation for this opportunity to provide us with this outstanding training and propel the humanitarian course initiative in the university.”
