Remote training provides access to medical supply chain learning and collaboration

Responding to the need for pharma supply chain training in a pandemic requires agility, resources and commitment. Online learning is accelerating and providing opportunities for practitioners to connect.

Amidst the current pandemic crises, HELP Logistics adapted its Pharma Supply Chain Management (PSM) classroom training into a webinar series.

With many different stakeholders, regulations and specific handling requirements, Pharma Health Supply Chains are complex systems which face a myriad of challenges. COVID-19 has further stressed these supply chains.

The course was delivered in French over a period of six weeks. 15 participants across West Africa, including Chad, Burkina Faso, Gabon, Niger, Mali, Cote d’Ivoire and Senegal completed the series. The course was attended by national and international health supply chain practitioners and decision makers. This training addressed key knowledge areas of the Pharma Health Supply Chain and provided a critical forum for exchanging information and cooperation in response to COVID-19.
