“A liberal economic policy and free global trade are not without undesirable developments and risks; nevertheless the globalisation and digitalisation of the markets cannot be scaled back and will ultimately lead to increased prosperity and employment.”
Klaus-Michael Kühne

Free trade

The Kühne Foundation is committed to the principles of free trade. It is convinced that the removal of trade barriers assists the development of worldwide prosperity. Global trade requires rules and framework conditions that mitigate its negative effects on individual groups, while promoting innovation and growth.

Therefore, the Kühne Foundation supports projects that help people to understand the framework conditions under which international trade can contribute to a sustainable development.
