Improving Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Emergency Operational Improvement

HELP Logistics supported the Philippine Red Cross to enhance the quality of in-house SOPs to ensure effective and efficient emergency response operation in any disaster.

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) Logistics Department in collaboration with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and HELP Logistics have kicked-off the improvement of in-house SOPs of different functions including warehouse, fleet, and procurement.

This is another initiative, which is part of the HELP Logistics led Supply Chain Preparedness Investment and Impact Measurement Project, that seeks to improve the quality of the current SOPs. The improved SOPs will provide the consistency and robustness of effective and efficient emergency response operation to beneficiaries in the Philippines. The PRC can ensure relief assistance in all disasters.

The improvement of SOPs is also supported by Yvette Halili-De Leon and the team from ROSEHALL — local experts in quality and productivity improvement.
