Logistics forms the backbone of international trade and prosperity. However, its importance is not yet sufficiently anchored in academic research and teaching. That is why the Kühne Foundation runs the Kühne Logistics University to provide scientific support for new developments in logistics and supply chain management and to promote the training and further education of managers. It is also active in the field of humanitarian logistics and supports humanitarian organizations and governments in optimizing disaster relief through HELP Logistics AG. With its LEED education program, the Kühne Foundation contributes to the development of logistics expertise in developing and emerging countries.
